So I'm not doing my homework.... This is my little tribute to Tomb Raider! It took me about 3 hours to finish this puppy. Just a concept that I wanted to finish. Done in photoshop with my trusty 'ol Wacom. TR is one of my favorite comic books, other than Witchblade...Also just got a PS2 and her first game was Tomb Raider! Hehehehehe.... so what if it's a little hard...

This is a beautiful take on Lara; her expression and features are very refreshing and original. I can't put my finger on exactly why - maybe there are just too many Lara-clones out there! - but this Lara is darker, almost challenging the viewer but defensive, as if she's about to knock off a sarcastic remark. Kudos to you hun

Yeah, I spent time rendering the face. I didn't base her off of the comic book either, so no she is not going to resemble her completely.

i just like that she looks pissed like someone actually managed to graise her and now shes gonna whoop ass! lol awesome job i can tell you spent alot of time on her face and thats why your so drawn to it when you see the background does a natural fade because its so greatly done!! im very happy with what you do when ur not doing homework! hehe

I think the facial expression is very good!!!!! also the background and how you coloured the skin, but I don't think the way you did the hair fits the image.

Thanks for the comment! Honestly, I don't care about the hair, or even her figure. The entirity of the 3 hours were focused on the face, the eyes alone took up a lot of time. The picture has an unfinished feel that I like, and a sort of blend from comic to real life.
