I love Shockwave's horror towards Megatron disappearing. Such compassion. Soundwave's father's death was moving, but it was great to see some honour in the ranks by staying with him until he passed. Even Decepticon's have compassion.

Thank you. I really glad you liked that part w/ Soundwave’s father. It’s another one of those scenes (That I personally always thought was pretty good) that doesn’t get as much feedback as I’d like. I love it when people notice the lil’ obscure things.
Between you, me, and the fence post, I never saw any reason to not believe that the Decepticons could not have cared for each other. There are several known examples, but if I had to choose one of the top of my head, it would be the ‘Core’ episode when Megatron mentioned doing this (Working with Prime) for the benefit of his Decepticons. Or when Megatron asked Soundwave to please not leave him in TFTM.
What is ‘evil’ anyways? Evil is usually a personal opinion. The Autobots of course felt that the Decepticons were ‘evil’ because they didn’t think, share, or hold the same values. For all we know the Decepticons think the Autobots are evil.
I had a feeling you might like that. My most favorite scene for them in 15 (which is also the smallest part) will make you happy I’m sure.

I'm sort of like that, too. It's always the scenes I really enjoy writing that no one really looks at twice [probably because there is slash somewhere in another part or something more 'eye catching']. But when I read, I tend to admire the smaller scenes, and I really enjoy reading and writing flashbacks. They're so emotional, in any way you look at it. And that's what a flashback IS. You don't have them unless they are something important.

Some of it is due to them being OCs, others is because fans are more apt to reply about what certain canon characters are doing instead. So I don’t think that it’s due to it not being enjoyed quite so much as readers comment on the other stuff more. Kinda sad, like you mentioned, because there’s a few good OC/generic/bit scenes in here --Or at least I believe. It’s not my point to judge my own work. That’s the reader’s pleasure.
Thanks again.
