For the first time in over four years, I think, someone actually requested a picture from me. @_@; Fargin' amazing. So yeah, I guess I take 'em. It's the Christmas season, after all. XD; The time to be giving and stuff. This'd be for and she wanted a picture of Michael Parker (Beyblade) and her character, Lia Amari.

Of course, not many people outside of me and my friends will get the joke of this picture, I don't think. Anyway, this is a quasi-parody/crossover whatever. Michael's taking on the role of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan - yes, THAT Hulk Hogan. XD That all came about back when I was giving all the Beyblade characters WWE entrance songs because, amazingly, there's a lot that can be crossed over from Beyblade and World Wrestling Entertainment. Maaaany different elements. I thought entrance themes for all the characters would've just been great, so I jotted down whatever wrestler's music seemed to fit that character best. Michael's, incidentally, was "Real American", the classic Hulk Hogan song. X3 (The All Starz in general got Hollywood Hulk Hogan's song by Jimmi Hendrix ) And back when Hogan was big, we had a Hulkamania era in wrestling with the Hulkamaniacs and whatnot. I'm not sure exactly... I got most of my classic wrestling knowledge from my cousins. Still, I could see Michael following up on that in the Beyblade world if they'd just LET HIM, DAMMIT. Gargh!

In turn, Lia's portrayed as Wrestling's First Lady (RIP, actually... she died earlier last year), Elizabeth Huelette, or rather, Miss Elizabeth. I was tempted to actually over-curlify Lia's hair so she'd REALLY look like Elizabeth (since her prime time was in the mid-1980's XD), but I figure I'd gone far enough. She has to look familiar, I suppose... because drawing her for me wasn't too different from drawing Miriam. Still, everyone loved Elizabeth. ... and yet again, there's another lingering wrestling-related in-joke here that I should refrain from saying. I've confused you all enough. XD

Michael's not as easy as he looks to draw. @_@; Maybe it's because he has a much more realistic male body build than most other boys on the show. I also... er, intentionally made it look like he just took steroids since he's parodying Hulk Hogan's trademark rip-his-shirt-in-two routine. ^_^ Note how I can't DRAW that pose very well... it's still my self-inflicted deal, it just proves I still need work.

CGed this because I wanted to make use of my programs to make neater lighting effects since they're both in a wrestling ring, surrounded by crowds of fans shooting cameras and naturally, spotlights... EVERYWHERE! To get the lights JUST how I wanted them, some certain details had to be sacrificed, though... ._.; I almost spent more time doing the special effects than the coloring. Hopefully this is a satisfactory result! So... yeah, Michael's saying "brother" is also a major Hulk Hogan trait. As with the bandana. ^_~ I'm such a dork...
