Description Just a simple portrait

Morpho luna is a butterfly of the Neotropic ecozone (South America). The distribution extend from Mexico to Panama. With a wingspan of 13.0 – 15.0 cm Morpho luna is a big member of the family NYMPHALIDAE. Morpho luna is an uncommon member of genus Morpho, because it has no brilliant blue scales. The butterfly is white with some black spots and eyes.
