Yao Ro Dushi is from Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku TatakaeriYao Ro Dushi, formerly Yao Haa Dushi, is a dark elf from Dushi Clan who is over 300 years old. She seeked the JSDF's aid when the Flame Dragon that attacked Tuka's village arrived at the forest where her tribe lives, becoming a threat to them. After the dragon was vanquished, she joins Itami's party.
Yao’s bad luck with men is rather infamous. Her boyfriend was stolen by her best friend. The next man died a night before their wedding, and another man who tried to court her died in an accident.
The Dushi Clan fled their village in Schwarz Forest when a flame dragon suddenly attacked and took refuge in the mountains and canyons nearby. Still, the flame dragon sniffed out their hiding places, and continued to eat her brethren. The lands which had been their hunting grounds became the hunting ground of the flame dragon.

Yao Ha Dushi - A dark elf who is over 300 years old seeks the JSDF's aid when the same dragon that attacked Tuca's village moves to the forest where her tribe lives, becoming a threat to them. In the Fire Dragon Arc of Gate, Yao told the truth to Tuca about the Red Dragon, the destruction of her village, everything. It is an obvious factor which left Tuca haunted by these memories. When Lt. Yoji Itami founded out, She joined the party as well after the Red Dragon's defeat & so does her name to Yao Ro Dushi. Nicely Done indeed.
