Description
Westie sitting by an Autumn sunlit window. Created in Photoshop 100+ hours. I used `spiritsighs foliage brushes and =maskimxul hair wisps, sections, and strands brushes. This is my very first digital painting. It definitely was a learning process for me. I also learned that using a mouse to paint with made this a very ... interesting journey.... researching wacoms & putting my pennies in my secret saving jar now

It's a very good painting (i like the colours in the fur and i'm surprised i hadn't commented before?) for a mouse! I would suggest having a look on Ebay, i got my Wacom tablet on there at a very good low price.

The source picture was over a year old of one of my poor westies. He was pouting and giving me sad eyes after a particularly bad hair cut I gave him. LoL! He was almost bald with short (and I mean SHORT) chunky spikes around his face. The picture included his mother & 3 other siblings, and they all looked just as bad.
Thank God for those hair wisps & strand brushes I found in PS brushes here at DA.

I resized Autumn's Poet. I had to wait till I could get a copy of the high resolution file. I lost all my original stuff to a nasty virus.
