Hours felt like they went by in the hospital room. Vlad had sucked out as much of the infected blood as he could but he eventually had to stop. He told Lenus to tend to the bite mark as well as Jacob’s other wounds. After doing so, he looks at Vlad.

”Sir... the tests are still coming back positive for vampirism. There’s still enough in there him to make him a dhampire...”

”I know... but I can drink anymore of his blood. If he loses another drop of blood, he could die.”

Lenus nodded “Understood...”

”It’s very likely he’ll be craving blood when he wakes up... I’m going to speak with the Dryhad. Let me know when he awakens.”

”You won’t be too harsh on her, will you?”

”No... I believe for the most part she’s learned her lesson, but she still has to be punished in some way....” He looks up “I believe 24 hour surveillance when she’s in and out of the facility, as well as suspension from her work will be suitable enough. She needs to help take care of the necromancer anyway if he is to become half vampire.”
