Hard to tell if it's fake or not. You did a great job! I actually the older style of anime way more then the current one. Due to it's simplicity and just overall looks. Also with the fact that I grew up watching an old anime. I mean I have you ever heard of the Moomins? A anime about hippopotamuses.
