Yes, I've become a brony. So what. Anyways, this is Prince Nova, a member of the royal family of Equestria's equivalent of Japan known as Nippony. His cutie mark, enlarged and depicted in the center of the image, was acquired when he witnessed the furthest edges of the Sonic Rainboom.

Now living in Ponyville, he's enjoying the peaceful non-royalty life. This is reflected in the change in his mane and tail, as it's more refined than when he was a foal. The golden rings around his left forehoof are a sign of his royal blood, and the ones on his hind legs are a gift from Ditzy Doo (AKA Derpy) the day he first moved to Ponyville. He is good friends with the grey cross-eyed pegasus and her daughter, Dinky.

Though he has yet to admit it to anyone, he has a crush on both Rainbow Dash and Applejack.
