The pencilly work on this is great! Or is it charcoal, I can't very well tell (sad thing about looking at trad. art digitally). But either way... just... wow! The contrast is what really makes this an excellent drawing. You rawk. XD Trumpets are my fave brass instrument... and W00T GO CLARINET PLAYAHS! I am one myself, and damn proud. >;3

Heh, clarinet/saxy playas seem to be congregating in this comment thread. Odd, as it's a trumpet. And a terrific one, great job. Although I might have to admit I prefer your exquisite renderings of the male physique over the trumpet... *droooooool*

I love the trumpet... My favorite instrument next to the clarinet, since I too am a clarinetist... (aspiring to be a professional one day with my trusty Buffet R13...) Beautiful work on the instrument. All your art is amazing. You should draw a clarinet sometime! That'd be wicked, as dear Ron would say! Keep it up!

Wow...I just need to know if you have a reference for your drawings or do you just pull it all out of your head? Because I play the trumpet, and I think that drawing is amazing...and so is your ability to draw the male body *licks lips* your HP boys are delectable!

wow... I like it lots. The reflections are really great, and the perspective you chose is wonderful. the only thing would change is the one shadow on the lower part of the bell where it goes from bright white to pitch black. it looks like there's a piece of paper there or something... overall, though, I really like it.
