im disturbingly reminded of hannibal lecter when i read that sentanceO_o
anyway....
more scary pictures from me. this one leans more towards realism than my other two. probably why it took longer too
that wall behind him was insanely annoying, it didnt look right at all until i added the intense lighting
anyway, when i first saw this picture, i immediately had the image of this painting in my head. i find it much easier to get the things in my head down accurately with my tablet. the pencil is just too annoying! it doesnt work as well for me i guess
i originally had at least four different ways of how to portray this, but in the end, my original idea worked best^_^
yes that IS a giant gaping hole in his chest, i didnt just forget to paint there.
im also submitting a layer breakdown of this, because a few people have inquired me about how many/how often i use layers: [link]
this picture had a total of 7 layers, with the watermark of course
also, this was all done in painter! i tried to do it in photoshop, but i just cant get used to it

I feal like after 4 days you might just be busy and can't keep up with the comments so I already finished my youtube video with everything except this picture in it so this picture is like the last essential piece to my slideshow of artwork this youtube video is completely non commercial and totaly non profit I gotta put my video up and if you respond with that you don't want this cool picture in it with credit to you and link to you then I will take down my youtube video off the net take you picture out. not trying to be rude I'm just so in a hurry. thnx

Hi, I made some songs and I was going to put them on youtube. And Iβm making a slideshows of artwork for the songs for people to look at when they listen to the music so itβs not so boring. Okay, so this isnt something I would usually look at, but once I saw the face it just..captivated me. [Might also be because once it showed up 'Bother' by Stonesour started playing and that seems to really fit the picture..]

I had this emo/goth on my background, and I was looking at him. And thought, I bet the circle on his chest represents a hole in his insides. (I didn't know, you actually didn't paint there. It just looks black like his shirt, I thought the white circle of his skin was some sort of accessory strapped to his chest) This is a really really well done work of art full of feeling. I edited it (for my own looking pleasure), I smeared his eye so he looks more sad, not angry, and I smeared his lip (on his left side) so it doesn't look like he's almost smiling. So, less sinister, and more like sulking. [link]
