8x10 pencil drawing on Bristol Smooth paper.New year's gift to my lovely wife Jasmine Shone. She is my biggest critic and my biggest motivator. I would have shelved many of my drawings if she had not encouraged me to finish it.
I have been working on this for a long time and must have spent atleast 50 hours on it.

It's nice to see a piece outside of your usual medium (or at least the medium I seem to catch the most) Wonderful drawing, people are in my opinion, the single most DIFFICULT thing to draw, paint, ect, and you did a beautiful job here. It's a very lovely piece, and I can see how you spent 50 hours on it. The effort here is clear to see. She must have adored this gift, it speaks so much more than a photograph. You can tell you poured so much love into this picture.

Yes, she appreciated it a lot. Our friends used to ask her why am I not drawing her. This one helped shut them up.
