Daikouji no Kai is a Japanese Yokai monster folklore.
One samurai was staying in a Daikouji temple. During the night, someone disturbed the samurai. Samurai thought it's a Yokai, so he drew his sword and slashed the yokai. The yokai was actually a monk with blue face. No matter how many times the samurai slashes the monk, there was no physical response at all.
