Nah, I don't make fun of him. xD I just make silly comments about him. I make silly comments about many of Nami's characters, and she returns the favour for mine. We are partners in crime for many a story.

It's a little bit complicated. He's absolutely terrified of being alone--both physically alone, and relationship alone. He can't deal with being single. So basically he'll do whatever anyone demands of him in order to get them to stay with him. He's completely shameless at this point because he's been forced into so many things he wouldn't have considered doing on his own, and basically he has no sense of personal worth left. He's used to being treated like a possession, and he doesn't know how to deal with anything else.
