i can mend your heart babyand right now i'm expecting to be
the furthest thing from your mind
as if it would ever change since then
i'm biting my nails thinking about you
wondering what i'll say when and if
we meet again standing at that door
surprised smile upon your face
you just witnessed a miracle
it had been over a year since
you and i had been nothing more
than strangers passing life by
not quite enjoying life but
not quite experiencing anything
except the moment we live in
i miss the way you look at me
it's changed since we met,
i used to be far back in the distance
never reaching out, keeping my ground
you were chasing after me
now you look at me like i'm
a lost child clinging to a tattered doll
a child standing alone in a subway
strangers passing her by
only taking time to notice
how her red dress seems to match
the colors on the wall
Wow. I wrote that spur of the moment... I thought that the picture wasn't enough, it just needed something more and well, now you have it. I always wanted more Picture was taken during the mis-hap in Chicago that you can read about in my journal.

its hard for me to write such simple lines and still give them that power.
I like pictures with odd signs, edited or not, i couldn't tell if i wanted to. i like it.

But it makes it cool. I mean, you wouldn't expect nor really want to see the Red Line too clearly.

i like the image a lot - its got a REAL feel too it - like you are there, cramped but heading somewhere
