I'm new to art like this.. I know it's fun and pleasing to look at.. but since I can't quite get an idea for it.. I can't really comment more beside saying it looks good.. ?. (if you can shed some light for me ((anyone)) please do.. thanks!)

Hehe, I understand you. And I'll try and explain as much as possible.
This is a really old piece. It was one of my first attempts at doing something with 3ds... When I work today, I usually try to ressemble something that is important to me in some way and I want to express. I start off with an intention of the piece, or at least an idea of what I want to show. A concept of some sort.
I did this one without having any type of goal for the piece in mind. In other words: It doesn't ressemble or mean anything intentionally. I just added element after element until I reached this state where I was pleased with the shape and feel of the piece. What I liked about this one was the 'robust, hard armor' feeling it generated. I was pleased with what I'd accomplished with so little knowledge of 3d graphics. Not that fond of it atm though. To me, it is truly what some call a typical 'abstract'. A pretty nice looking, but also quite pointless(?), form. But I would like to have it as a real sculpture. But that project will have to wait. Hope I've helped in some way.

A journey has begun indeed. Just like all your other pieces this is awesome, the amount of detail is astounding.
I personally like the monochromatic style u use, but maybe it eould be cool with like a small hint of colour somehwhere, to accentuate a focal point. Just a suggestion.
Anyway, awesome work Shri, i can tell a lot of time went into this

By not being an artist per say, I'm not exactly certain what all (skills, techniques, concepts, time, effort, etc..) go into making a piece like this; but as I let my eyes travel and focus in on the different 'layers' and dimensions of this particular piece, I drool in awe of it's aesthetic quality. I'm not usually one to be so "fanatical" about things like this, but just sit in front of this piece for like 3 minutes and study it... it's amazing. Aside from that, nice work as usual.

that's fantastic! ..it does get a bit hazy/smoky in areas, but I dunno if that's part of the effect.
either way..I love the organic metal feel, I think I can see some forks in there.
