Commissioned illustration for the oncoming 4X Space Strategy Game called 'HORIZON' from the Canadian studio L30 Interactive and published by Iceberg Interactive in Europe on next Tuesday July 2nd.You guys should have a try on this game, it's really awesome.

I really love your style of using colors to create tension! awesome use of cool and warm colors, contrasts and light/shadow. The amount of details is... incredible. Γ_Γ

Thank you, I'm really flattered by what you say. In fact the very thing you need to learn is value because itΒ΄s what help you create a sense of depth. So basic rule is the closer the darker, in other words the foreground should be darker than your background. Same rule the closer the bigger which really makes sense, lol!! Try to work in grey scale to work around the concept from black to white with variation of grey. Hope this is helping.
