Well Her hairs are active body part, rather then usual dead cells. She can control them at will, give them shape and use them for slicing, dicing etc.
This also the reason why she has long hair, because she can't cut them.

Now it makes scence. But pardon me for this, But hair acting like limps is something I hear and read a lot and it kinda generic for having a character with very long hair that can be shaped by will. However, its good that you explain why its long and their is more to it then design choices. i know that if you use long hair for a source of power, you end up going this way. So me just wondering, how she got the power and why? Her culture? Her origin? Curse? gifted power? Power by Birth?Β

At first sight it may feel generic, but when you'll know her full character it won't feel that common.
As for where she got them, well it from birth or more accurately her "Creation". She was created by "Chaos" and "Abyss", as a love interest for the Fallen King.

Reading this I have to think of some simularity to my Original character whoes creation is the balance between Existance and No Existance. She has also very long hair and so I know what you say, it first feels generic but if you know more about her long hair you sure find its not.
