If you think it is "crap" then offer the photo as free Stock for others to work miracles with your art. You will be reasonably blessed with tons of "hits" as people will come to your page to download the free stock (and some artists here at DA already know about this). Just make sure you have them credit your photo and provide a link to where the photo is. this one here I can predict will get you at least 50,000 hits or more within a year.

the quality is actually not that bad! the lightning is simply incredible so it definitely takes the focus away from anything that is slightly low quality!

Excellent shot.
I am very familiar with really close up lightning as any time we have thunder and lightning our house gets struck. It used to blow the light fixtures out of the ceiling, but since the place was rewired it just crackles through the sockets. The sound from that lightning strike must have been visceral.
