This is the effect that I'm looking for with the plastic wrap technique, because I want to paint some koi fish But the result of my experiment is what I was looking for... Yours is really great

Plastic wrap is so much fun to work with watercolours It's uncanny how corporeal the palette and textures turned out here... positively exquisite.

Wow, very nicely done.
Since you're trying out techniques, might I suggest you try one?

If you have a big enough space in your freezer, I highly recommend putting paper that is still wet in the freezer. With colors that is.

As it freezes, really cool shapes emerge, and stay on even after it dethaws.

Thanks for your suggestion, I never try it before..
I wonder what texture the color will create, I will try it out one day..

Thank you, I appreciate it

this is beautiful, i quite like it. i would have been too tempted and fallen into the trap of trying to add too much depth and shading, and massacred what is good about it.

I realized, sometimes taking a pause, stepping back and look at the painting again does help...

Thanks for your comment and thanks for the favorate~
