Description
Miasma is the queen of a smaller hive somewhere. Her and her entire brood stink quite rotten, to the point where it's faintly noticeable even when they're transformed. For that reason, and because Miasma is a vain bitch, she's obsessed with perfume.All hail her musty majesty!

Miasma might reek pretty bad, but then again I reckon Chrysalis doesn't exactly smell like roses either.

My first pony OC was named Miasma - her last incarnation before I stuffed her into the "Unused Character Vault" in my brain was a Pegasus, and when she flew, she shed this nasty black smoke. Ended up driving other ponies away, even though all she really wanted was to help folks out.
Miasma's a great word.

I really can't get that thought of my head that she really is the kind of using acid/poison. Her color, the fact that she and her entire brood smells rotten and her "bitchy" personality fits to it aswell.
For example, that sticky liquid changelings can produce in their holes to lay traps or built their hives, Miasma could actually use something similar to coat her body with it to poison the enemys who are touching her (simply by just throwing a punch at her or something). It has to be like an acid-like poison which not only can melt through concrete walls, but weaks the victims body bit by bit until you collapse and eventually die without an antidote. She could also breath some kind of poison gas out of her mouth to mess up your senses. I really got inspired by this idea from Magellan from One Piece who uses similar abilities. [link]
The reason why i think this kind of fighting type fits to her is because it seems like Miasma has like no actual battle experience unlike Chrysalis and thats why she would rely on a more cowardly way to win a fight by poisoning her opponent and make fun of them with her "posing" while you lie there, paralyzed, poisoned and about to die without even putting a scratch on her. But if you would nullify her ability she would be helpless and would start to panic.
