Not too many people know that Goofy did have a son in the 1950s shorts named Junior who was even more antropomorphic than Max and had no ears. Max is till awesome because heΒ΄s your everyday teenager.

Okay, I think I know which movies I'm watching while I work on my painting tonight.
I do like your take on him here. It's like his age between the first movie, and the tv series. I remember he was still a grade schooler / middle schooler in the tv series, then maybe sophmore or junior year in the first movie. So maybe he's an eighth grader or freshman here?

Goofy is such a pure and innocent character, and in every incarnation, he always means to do right. Easily one of my favourites.
Max and Goofy play very well off each other, and A Goofy Movie needs to be recognized more. Goofy never asks anything of Max except to be honest and simply wants to support him.

Geez, blast from the past. I must admit I never appreciated the show as a kid. Later in life when I rewatched it I really enjoyed it, found Goofy quite relatable.

The Goofy movie, heh. I remember reading a USAToday "interview" with The Goof in regards to that movie, in which he was asked about the fact that there's him, and then there's Pluto, and um...anyway, Goofy's answer, as I remember was "I guess I'm the missing link between dog and man".
