Awesome work on Vitani! I love her.
I really liked how her hair is on her. It makes her stand out as one of the main characters.
And her eyes are actually blue.
They're colored purple when she's a cub at the outlands in the movie 'The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride'. [Link]

In an early draft of the script, right before he died, Nuka asked Zira "Well, I finally got your attention, didn't I?" That really got to me because all his life he wanted some attention and affection from those around him, especially from Zira and maybe Scar, and he finally got his wish in death.

Oh my God, thank you. FINALLY someone plays this scene from Vitani's point of view and how it affects her. I'm sure this almost destroyed her inside, but barely anybody realizes it. You can also tell in the movie how she's in extreme shock when her voice is shaky as she says: "Nuka..."

I'm not a big Vitani fan ... but this ... is just an incredible piece and an incredible moment. It's the moment the world stops and your mind plays tricks with your eyes and you only hope that what you saw and heard was an illusion, that everything will be alright in the next few seconds. ... But deep down in the soul, the reality is different and that is when family loyalty is fueled by blind hatred and anyone outside of family ties is an enemy. I can see all of that in this picture ... all of that in her eyes. I really do feel sorry for Vitani in this moment. Though Nuka was a klutz and easy to hate and dismiss, she didn't want anything bad to happen to him. I'm sure, in moments outside of Zira's vengeful agenda, she loved him. This is a beautiful picture. I really love discovering artwork that makes me reconsider characters that I never really cared for ... and in this small pocket of a moment, I really do care a lot for Vitani -- *and* Nuka. An amazing picture. It's very spot on to her character.
