Description
Commissioned mesh underbust corset.This corset is made using a heavy-duty sport mesh. The boning channels are coutil, and ribbon is used to support the body of the corset. The busk is 8" long.

Where do you get that kind of mesh? I've been meaning to practice sewing with that and I can't find anywhere good to get a small amount to practice with

I ordered it from Seattle Fabrics, specifically the 3500 Sport Mesh. This was the least expensive suitable stuff I could find at the time. I don't know if there might be other sources or materials available at this time. [link]

It was a customer commission, so it's not in my possession. Thanks anyway. Your portfolio is very nice, but health problems have forced me to stop taking commissions and I'm no longer seeking customers for my sewing.

It depends upon the corset. All of them are custom designed, so the price is entirely dependent upon what the customer wants. An underbust mesh corset (any cut) like this one is just a bit less than $400. Plain underbusts start at $200. I have a pricing guide posted to my web site, and give full quotes to customers so there is no surprise in the cost of each corset. [link]

VERY interesting corset...I like it very much, pretty damn cool design. (I've had one shoot with the new corset but alas I was not happy with my photography...I'm trying to remain hopeful that I'll get a decent shot up on dA soon. You did wonderful work).

Awesome, so it sounds like I gave you a challenge you couldn't pass up L()L. I was actually just looking at your website, very nice. I don't think when I saw it last time that it was any good. But now, I was happy to see so much content, specially your drawings explaining the various shapes and sizes and styles. Very cool and a great addition.

You did give me quite a challenge. The main point of making corsets custom is that they are so finicky to fit, especially if they are well made. Making one corset that could fit "most models" is a challenge indeed!
