i can use this, i have my own oc race based on the anthro wolf form, and he would make a good male base.

This is very cool! Great job on all of those angles. Especially a great job on the legs...I always find those tricky! o:

Thank you! Oh man, the legs/feet were the hardest part, especially because they aren't just straight

Neato. Funky pawpad configuration for him xD. Hard to see it exactly since it flicks through so quick.
Curious what makes animation so difficult, just keeping each frame in the same proportions, or actually setting up the program to make the frames into an animation that plays and isn't just a still picture?

You basically had to draw 8 pictures in other words. Defining and refining each. Sounds... mind numbing to be honest

Haha, yeah, but I feel like it's harder than drawing eight separate images, as it has to flow(and it's infuriating xD)

Wolfy-Biter Yeah, that is one thing that is easier with 3D stuff. Making something in 3D would be a lot easier, because you would have already have sculpted/modeled the object or character in totality and then you just have to set it to rotate and then render the animation. You don't have to do 8 separate images and then stitch them together.

Yeah, not to mention it's turning around. So you can't even copy/paste most of the image and make an alteration to the part you want to move. She has to just redraw it all and try to keep proportions perfect. Sounds like a huge headache to me.
Makes me wonder how animated shows can produce an entire 30 minute episode in a decent amount of time.
There has to be some tricks or something to speed up the process

I think with some programs, you can take a 2D character and basically have it act like it would in a 3D program. Where you can basically rig the character to move without having to redraw the entire thing. Now, older cartoons, like Hanna-Barbara, I don't know how they could do weekly episodes.

A whole lot of backbreaking drawing?
Probably why most animated shows aren't very detailed. Makes drawing them a lot quicker. Especially by an art team that's use to characters and the general style of a given show

Yeah, I can't ay I have ever seen a cartoon series that has something like cell shading, or any real shading for that matter, though out the while cartoon. It's rare you even see shadows casts by characters.

Lmao! Drawing can be many things: sometimes it's fun, sometime's it's work, sometime's you want to crumple it up and feed it to your dog!
