Description
This year I've decided to paint one holiday card each month, to lessen the stress in the last few months of the year
January's card was a bobcat! This was slightly experimental, as I tried out combining gouache with watercolour, on Bristol paper. I think I would like a thicker paper next time, but it did turn out quite well I think.I haven't posted much lately, but I have a few big things done and waiting until I can post them ;3

The details are inredible, wow! The fur colours/textures are so lifelike. As is the snow! I really love how it appears to sparkle. Just like real snow.

Holy wow, this is simply incredible!
I love how you not only did the coloring, and how beautifully the colors and the markings blend together to give such a natural look to the fur, but also that fur detail itself is just absoutly stunningly done! My favorite part of this though is the background, the way you did the snow its just simply gorgeously done, and it looks so real.

I have to say the way you did the fur it actually looks so real, I honestly feel like I could just reach out and run my hands through it (and now I sit and wonder is the fur course or soft. Haha). In the end, this is an incredibly beautiful image and I hope you plan to do more like this! ^^

Hmm, I wonder how soft a bobcat is.. I imagine quite soft, yet maybe not as soft as a house cat

I always felt it was probably coarse on the outer layer and then soft on the inner layer, sorta like a water dogs fur! If that makes sense. Haha.
I really want to commission you for some traditional art, even though I'm sure you are not open but would you mind if I noted you? What I want to commission if very far off but I would like to get a pricing so I can save up and stuff. ^^ If that is okay?
