FINALLY

I've been working on this for a long time and I don't know why it took so long... but here it is.
I feel bad that I haven't posted anything in literally a month, and the vacation is almost over ;n; I need to finish those commissions...

Back to the picture, I had another really stupid dream lately _>

So, anyway, they obviously didn't have names in the dreams, and I know I possibly couldn't remember all the details that well, but I built on the initial idea. I even made a description for each. Some clothes concepts/designs were inspired by The Last Story. I've been playing the game quite often so now I probably know why I had such a dream >__>
Now this is gonna be very long, so if you don't like to read I advise you don't continue.

side note: ...wut is anatomy I can never seem to get it right Dalvyn's hand and Miranda's legs are really bothering me but I can't seem to fix them..

Anyway, here are the character descriptions:

Yanlin: Cunning of the group. A battle-hardened warrior who is the most agile of the six. Family was murdered by assassins, so spending his life running made him very versatile while fending for himself. Doesn't have any particular attachments to anyone in the group, but is very close to Dalvyn. Is usually put in charge of tasks or errands. Mostly fair-tempered, but when angered is very hard to calm down. Is fluent in English but tends to switch to Chinese without realizing due to force of habit. Is also given the job of preparing food for the group since he is an exceptionally good cook. (176cm, d.o.b. Jan. 4)

Jackal: Voice of the group. A self-centered narcissist who cares mainly for himself. When it comes to battle he's more concerned about the state of his clothes than his allies' well-being. Dresses lavishly. The clothes he wears are spoils from people he's defeated, making him appear more financially stable than the others. What he lacks in moral, however, he makes up with persuasion. Has a tendency to sweet-talk people into doing things or to get out of sticky situations, and it almost always works. He can sugar-coat just about anything and can wrap you in lies and false words that sound very believable, making him a force to be reckoned with. Is usually put in charge of speaking to officials or townspeople. (181cm, d.o.b. Nov. 6)

Reis: Muscle of the group. Usually put to physical labor if needed. He can be a very good fighter if he wants to be. However, there isn't a bigger coward, if ever was one. He tends to chicken out of many situations and thereforecan be unreliable. If it weren't for his strength he would have been kicked out already. Used to be a train conductor, but there was an accident while delivering passengers. His family happened to be on the train at the time on holiday, and he tried to save as many passengers as he could. When he got to his family's cart they were nowhere to be found. Has had a phobia of fire and trains ever since. Is Neil's idol, but honestly speaking he's a bad example for kids everywhere. Is close with Miranda, but not "that kind" of close. (171cm, d.o.b. Sept. 17)

Miranda: Life of the group. A feisty foulmouth who tends to get rowdy. Left her family to live the life of a traveler because, seeing as she was a noble, she was never allowed to leave the house. Tends to cheer the group up they are down and put them in high spirits. Has a bad of schmoozing and sometimes flirts to get herself out of trouble. However none can beat her loyalty to her friends. Is usually put in charge of hostages/prisoners because she can woo them into submission. Is sweet on Reis, but he doesn't know it. (168cm, d.o.b. Aug. 2)

Dalvyn: Leader of the group. A good tactician and fighter, and a non-too-strict leader, His good qualities ensure the loyalty of the group. Abandoned when he was young because his family could not afford to raise him, he decided to retaliate and show them he was worth something, thus gathering people into his group who had the same misfortunes as he. However when he returned to his family they did not acknowledge him and claimed not to know his face. Outraged, he declared the group was his family now and he didn't need the likes of them. He never saw his parents again. Has a slight drawback of being too merciful for his own good and tends to get himself in trouble by showing too much pity. Is a less-than-standard fighter with a sword, and prefers a bow and arrows.

Neil: The youngest of the group. House was bombed during the civil war, leaving without a family or home, forced to live on the streets. Just when he was about to die of starvation Reis found him while buying supplies and asked Dalvyn if they could take him in. Since that day he's been doing his best to be of use to the group, although he can't fight. Later on he is kidnapped by Zeeve and taken hostage. While with him Zeeve feeds him lies and false truths, yet he took utmost care of him. Was rescued two days later. Unable to discern between fantasy and reality, Neil visits Zeeve despite his previous actions towards him and gives him food and asks to hear stories. Neil soon befriends Zeeve and comes to his defense when neeed, albeit often. (149cm, d.o.b. Feb. 7)

Zeeve: Skin-walker and hostage/prisoner of the group. A renown assassin in a group if four, he was given the task to murder three very important people, Dalvyn being one of them. However he failed at the previous two, and rather than killing Dalvyn he kidnapped Neil because he was easy prey. However when Neil was reclaimed the group was furious, so after consulting Dalvyn they agreed to hold him prisoner and torture him for his past crimes. He has been in their cell for weeks left to starve, and for every minute Neil was in his custody he has been whipped the corresponding number of times. However he cannot be killed by such means so he suffered a great deal. (Temporarily, [I'll explain later] ) blind due to a whip-lash across his face. Just when he'd lost hope of ever leaving Neil appeared to him at night and gave him food. The visits Neil made became more frequent. Zeeve thought of using this as an advantage to escape, however in the end his heart opened to the boy and he no longer had the will. After his frequent visits Zeeve grew close to Neil and trusted him enough to tell him stories about the skin-walkers.

Skin-walker: A forest deity of ancient lore. Half human, half beast, they are long forgotten and not many remember the name. Skin-walkers protect the forest, but not necessarily what inhabits it. They rid the place of decay/pollution and absorb it within themselves, hence the hideous appearance. However their forests are being torn down and they have nowhere to live and are drastically decreasing in number. With nothing to do, they get hired as mercenaries or assassins due to their prowess.

...Phew. That took a while. More on this later.
