Merci beaucoup (: Cette toile fait partie de mes préférées... mais malheureusement j'ai l'impression que l'original est en train de s'altérer, les couleurs passent, surtout le bleu, et ça ressemble plus à un monochrome noir et blanc maintenant. Je pense que c'est dû au fait que je n'ai pas mis assez de fond aquarelle et du coup les couleurs ont du mal à s'accrocher. Enfin j'espère que c'est seulement dû à cela :/

Thanks Sylwia (: Someone else told me about eastern paintings too, it's funny because I begin to be fond of chinese and japanese art and folklore, but I wasn't yet when I finished that painting... Kind of premonition maybe q:
Actually there was an old painting I did 8 or 9 years ago on the canvas, then I covered it with white gesso and "watercolor ground" in order to paint with watercolours on it. This one was in fact my first try and I'm very happy with the result (:

I admit I can't say precisely how long it took me... I started it in November, stopped after the first background layer until February... So I don't rememberw. It wasn't that long, even if it was a large surface, because I haven't put so many detailes on it.
