Oh Vlad....
I can see where he's coming from.
he's doing work that he can't really catch Ellie up on quickly, he's a narcoleptic, he looks like a zombie at times (part of that was your intention), and he has no cooking skills...
Hopefully we can see what Vlad is exactly doing with his scientific mind. It's a very different story than what I expected from the first chapter cover... A story that would make a rather interesting movie, or movie series.
But Whiskey in a Jar... I cringed right there.
Excellent work, with both you and your husband making strips again.

Serge is nice, but like every character he has a limited amount of patience. Vlad and Serge go way back, but it was never Serges Β job to deal with his assistants. He did it out of kindness to Vlad to somewhat lift some of the burdens off him, but after Vlad pretty much chased away so many of his to-be assistants, Serge got fed up with constantly repeating the same process to so many different people, which is why in the end he reacted the way he did. Β

i just can't shake the feeling off, that doing something "out of kindness" for someone else, is not actually a trade off and won't change another person and as much as his intentions were meant well, he gives now vlad the fault for it, that it didn't work out as "serge" would have liked it to be Β
i can understand that he is upset though, disappointment and feeling bad for vlad...and now also feeling bad for elli, since he seemed to have somewhat grown fond of her
I may favor vlads side a little because I can relate to him quite alot

You got it right actually XD Serge sometimes like to poke his nose where it doesn't belong, and if things don't go his way, this is what happens. I try to write layered characters. His intentions come from a good place though^^ And I am glad you can also side with Vlad, he is not a mean person, just extremely stressed.Β

There's a thingΒ I don't understand : I've seen many of you art (and from shiniez too) showing them playing an online game together but it seems that the story is ending here for the moment. Did you and shiniez make some drawings "in advance" ?

stjepan has them in continuity at the moment, but my story is 6 months before sunstone so the gaming strips are still not shown in my story yet. so.. yeah you can say my gaming strips are a notion of things yet to come.
