Description Was a little tipsy the other day and decided to try my hand at painting white clothing while still using darker washes. It doesn't look quite as good as I had intended but I think that's partially due to me not highlighting nearly as much of the border creases (especially towards the mini's legs) as I could have. Still, I'm glad I gave it a go and am more than happy to get any feedback you may have.

Enjoy!

Overall a rather good job, I would however recommend trying to get different metal shades for the chain mail and the shield.

I rather like the white on the cloth though the white on the shield shows the brush marks up a lot so maybe thinner coats to build up the layers to get a solid finish.

With the gloves being brown leather it would have been nice to see a darker shade for the sword handle to help it stand out and not blend in with the gloves.

I think you missed an opportunity with the scabbard of the sword, you could have used this to help tie in the green on the shield.

Anyway nice work and keep at it.

Looks nice, but you should bend the sword straight...

Yeah, I've had that issue in the past. These are DnD minis that come pre-primed and I was worried that doing the usual hot/cold water trick would mess with the primer.

Ah, I see. Ever thought about using a hairdryer instead of water? Works perfect for me...

I don't have a hairdryer on hand at the moment haha. But I'll give it a shot when I'm able!
