Watch out, cuz Yoshi is cooking up some enemies down below with his fire blast!

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I prefer the Super Dragon over the Yoshi Stampede. Even though the Yoshi Stampede was a very nice callback to the Super Smash Bros. Melee intro, it was less closely related to anything Yoshi from the Super Mario/Yoshi series compared to the Super Dragon (it could be reference to one of the Yoshi Kid's attacks from TTYD, but that could be a stretch due to how obscure that attack was). The Super Dragon was a huge reference to Super Mario World, Yoshi's debut game. The wings and the fireballs represent the 2/3 abilities the Yoshis get when eating one of the four colored Koopa shells and the "Super Dragon" name comes from the message block at Yoshi's House that was signed by Yoshi, who claimed himself to be the "Super Dragon", according to the Japanese version.

It's understandable that Sakurai wanted to give Yoshi a new Final Smash that is more quick and direct for Ultimate like the rest of the fighters and apparently not many people liked the Super Dragon due to how hard the controls were. As much as I like the new FS, I miss the Super Dragon as I can't help but feel it has more connection to Yoshi and his major traits from his respective series than a FS that reference to either a series that isn't Yoshi's home series or an attack that isn't as memorable as the shell abilities. Plus, Yoshi be looking pretty badass with his angelic wings and him blasting every suckers out of the screen XD
