One of my favourite scenes in the movie was the one where Robin Hood and Maid Marian were alone in the woods. It was so romantic.

It would have been better if they were talking whilst in the woods as they hadn't seen each other for so many years. I know they did whilst running away from Prince John and that's when Robin asked Marian to marry him, but as they have time alone in the woods, it would have Β been the perfect Β moment. I felt that going straight into the love song was a bit out of place. Don't get me wrong, I love the song but communicating with each other first would have been more engaging, if you know what I mean.

They thought that the songs weren't really memorable, and it just didn't have the oomph that most of the others had, like Cinderella.
Remember, it was made in the 70's, when the malaise set in and they pretty much stopped making cartoons after 'The Fox and The Hound'.
As for me, I love the movie! It's one of my favorite Robin Hood movies, aside from Errol Flynn, and he did it the best of them.
Let's not talk about the Kevin Costner one or worst Russell Crowe.
