Description This isn't a new image, but I did decide to pull it over from my boring business gallery. Because...well, I like this one!

My first proper vector. I did this to learn the associated tools in Photoshop. Actually, not two weeks later, that exact skill landed me my last job, drawing Boy Scout patches. Luck!

Stock used...thank you!

Thank you! Greater minimalism in my work is actually something that I consider a goal in my work...not hiding behind so much detail, and instead using what few lines and forms you do with as much finesse as some of the other awesome people around here.

*doesn't know what vectors are*

Very shiny. I like the almost satin effect on the obi. Oh, and the blood... I didn't notice that the first time I looked at it. I was thinking "holding a sword like that would leave a... oh... there's blood."

Vectors are like the "shape tool" found in most image programs, where you can infinitely resize a star, rectangle, or...whatever. They are a way to process image data where, rather than actually defining pixels on the image, you create a line or shape that the computer will recognize as a constraint in and of itself. In Photoshop, it's the pen tool and its cronies.

Vector-created images are recognizable for being comprised of very clean shapes and lines, neat fields of color that are filled uniformly or with a gradient.

And...no. No, I don't really know what's wrong with this chick and her masochistic tendencies.
