Chapter 5: History Long Forgotten

Looking around the carrier he could see Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and E-123 however something was telling Silos someone was missing. It wasn't until he remembered the Chaos' tail that it hit him, "Big the Cat! he's back on the island!" With that Silos quickly looked around and saw the outline of Station Square however he also noticed that a bright ball of light was zipping around him.

"I know I know! Damn! I'll have to use it to make it in time! Zero!" Sonic looked up seeing Silos standing on the ledge of the captain's room and saw him jump off the edge shouting "Shift!" There was a loud booming sound as they saw waves erupting from the sea heading towards Station Square. In that moment Silos erupted from the air and landed on one of the buildings in Station Square.

"Chaos hasn't attained his Perfect form, there may still be some time...what the?" Silos didn't know who, but someone was watching him from the other side of the city. They stood on the edge of a building rooftop, their face was covered in the shadows of the building next to theirs but something about them was familiar. Their outfit was strange with a sleeveless jacket, black T shirt, black denim pants with what appeared to be combat boots underneath, it was something he could see himself wear but not anyone else.

The figure pointed towards the far side of the city in the direction of Angel Island and saw that it was starting to rise up into the air. Silos looked back towards the figure and saw that they disappeared "Who the hell was that?" his answer would have to wait, He could feel the rumbling of the buildings shattering beneath him as he jumped towards another rooftop and saw water pouring out and forming a large water creature.

"No! Chaos found the emerald!" Not long after Chaos appeared Sonic and his friends appeared, he jumped off the building ledge and landed next to them in time to see Tikal also appear before them. "It's you, Tikal!" Tikal the ancient echidna sealed in the Master Emerald looked around saying "I am Tikal, it is a pleasure to meet you...Silos, I am sorry to have awaken you, only to have you relive the nightmare from before."

They all turned towards him as he said "Tikal, I said it once before, I knew this was going to happen, there is no stopping this from happening, the only way to deal with Chaos, is to unite the chaos of the servers and purge the evil Eggman placed." Silos knew exactly how this was going to go, all of Sonic's friends found the Chaos Emeralds and using the pureness of his heart, Sonic attained his Super Sonic mode and raced off to fight Chaos.

Getting the Super Mode was correct however there was a side effect to it, when Sonic went Super, part of his energy was sent flying towards Silos who seemed to react to the energy causing his hair to change into a snow white color with highlights of blue appearing. "What the? how did I change into my final form?" He heard Tikal laugh a little before saying "You share a connection to the servers, their power seems to have given your own, a wake up call as you use to put it."

Silos didn't need to understand their connection however both him and Sonic quickly sped through the rubble of the city and quickly took on Chaos the only way they knew how. Sonic zipped along the waters surface while Silos blasted through the air quickly slashing through the tornados and dodging the laser blasts. After a couple of hits to his central nervous system, Chaos started to pick up his aggression as he started creating and flinging meteors in the air towards the two of them.

Sonic was easily dodging however Silos was slicing them in two with his katana blade to mitigate damage to the surrounding buildings. Chaos seemed to be on his last leg to which he started pouring all of his power into one last shot, Sonic was gathering rings to maintain his form however Silos knew he wasn't going to make it in time. This time Silos pulled out his blade and started to charge it with his remaining energy. The blade lite up brightly as he sped through the air and in a swift motion swung the blade releasing the energy to collide with the blast Chaos shot towards them both.

Both energy attacks collided with a crash as everything was sent flying due to the shock wave that was sent outwards. Silos continued to hold his position to prevent the attack from faltering however it wasn't enough as he was forced back as energy started to puncture his body and was soon enveloped in a bright light. After the light receded everyone saw his katana blade land blade first into a concrete slab and saw Tikal and Chaos floating down.

"Tikal! What happened to Silos?" She looked around and said "Was he not with you? I did not see him when I reached Chaos." They all looked around but couldn't find him anywhere. When they heard a gurgling sound they saw that Chaos eyes lit up a bit to which Tikal seemed to translate saying "Chaos saw Silos being enveloped by the light but that was the last thing he saw. It's like he just disappeared."

Everyone seemed to be in a downed move however when Amy turned her head back towards the sword her eyes lite up as she saw the sword was gone! The hole it created with it's blade was still there but the sword itself was gone. "Hey! I dont think he's gone for good! His sword is gone!" Knuckles looked up and said "Hey Yeah she's right! It is gone."

Little to their knowledge standing above them high up on another buildings rooftop, the figure Silos saw before sat on it's ledge, his face still covered by shadows as he gave a sinister smile saying "That's right, keep those hopes up, you are all spared from my wrath, the rest of this world however..." The figure stood up fully, revealing in his right hand Silos' katana blade, glowing a near pitch black flaming aura, while his left hand had the appearance of a demons skin, also enveloped in a black flaming aura.

At that moment the figure turned around and swung the blade in the air, cutting what seemed to be a rip in space and walking through it and appearing in what seemed to be a military base saying "The rest of this world, doesn't have the right to even speak the words, I'm Sorry, for what they've done to me. They will pay for everything they did, every life they killed that day. And for her, for keeping her away from me." ~ ~ ~
