Levitation: A side effect of her Phoenix magic, Chou is capable of levitating to a small extent. This ability comes in handy for dodging simple attacks and cushioning the impact if she happens to fall from a great height.
Combo Spells: Chou has a few spells that make use of both types of magic she possess. She calls these spells Silver-Ice Combos.
Silver-Ice Combo: Smoke Screen: Chou creates an Ice shield and then blasts it with her silver fire, creating a temporary smoke screen that allows her to either escape or land a close range blow

Personality: Chou is adventurous and outgoing as well as a little stubborn and quite assertive. She jumps at any chance she gets to use her magic, which has earned her a reputation as a bit of a show off. She has fiery temper and will lash out at anyone when she’s in a bad mood. She loves to read fantasy adventure novels in her free time.

History: Chou was taken from her family at very young age by a former family friend who had recently lost his wife and daughter. She spent the majority of her early life cut off from the outside world until she was about ten. A few weeks after her tenth birthday one of her brothers pulled a nasty prank on her, scaring her half to death. That was the day she found out about her Silver Phoenix Magic. Over the next few months every time she got extremely upset or agitated shed lose the limited amount of control she had over her Silver Phoenix Magic. Nothing bad really happened until one day when, after having a huge fight with one of her brothers, she’d been so upset that she had unleashed the biggest burst of Phoenix magic yet. Her adoptive father, who had been trying to calm her down, got caught in the blast and was fatally injured. After his passing Chou and her brothers did their best to survive. Chou’s eldest brother, Zene, blamed her for their father’s death and after a while became extremely nasty and even abusive towards her. After about a month, Chou and her pet, Dovey, ran away. Chou eventually found her way to Magnolia where she joined the Fairy Tail guild, hoping she could learn from the wizards there. After joining she elected to keep her phoenix magic secret maintaining that she was only an Ice wizard. About a year after joining Fairy Tail, Chou managed to convince fellow ice wizard, Gray to help her out in learning ice-make magic.
