Description
Material used:Β color pencils (Derwent, Lyra and others), white gel pen, eraser, Gimp (some editing and made the background).- I colored the sketch I made in January or February. I really liked to color her rainbow hair ^^
- The alternative title is "Making memories".Β My idea was that her hair represents her memories. The more she's knitting/making memories the less time she has left until the thread is finished.

I love the depth behind her story, my original impression when I saw it in your gallery was: Oh, cool, she's knitting with her hair! But...she's actually knitting her hair with her shirt, which is an incredible concept, and then, of course, your story for it, the briefness of life as you make memories, and I can really get that feeling from this.

The Derwent pencils I usually buy from bookstores (in Finland) but they probably sell them in art stores or on the internet too.Β
My mother always gets me the Lyra pencils which are my favorites but I guess you can buy them on the internet if the stores don't have them.
