I'm not good at detecting styles much, hard to say this looks different than other picture I've seen from you, then again, I haven't seen too many bird characters from you so this is a first.

I think the biggest thing that stand out to me on this character and what I absolutely adore overall is the highlights, or perhaps that's just because of the color of the character, I think it's a bit of both though. The light blue color has a wonderful contrast from bright blue to dark grey and really shows a wide range of shades. What I like most is that extreme contrast showing, especially on the wings, from this dark grey blue to the bright shining blue. I love any picture that has a beautiful contrast like this using both dark and light colors. This contrast can also be seen on the beak and on the metallic parts of the picture such as the buckles/goggles.

I also like the subtle texture you added for the feathers. Not really visible when you look at the picture zoomed out, but zoomed in adds a very nice, noticeable touch to the picture. I especially love it with the black feathers where you can see the 'hairs' on each individual feather. All around this looks lovely and I don't know exactly what type of style you were trying out but I think it was a big success overall.
