i bet! i always see really pretty sunsets but i can never take them the way other people do... they don't look as pretty on my camera lol. oh well, i always try

You just have to learn to play with things like settings and angles. Mine is just a plain old Kodak camera I've learned over time that the camera really doesn't matter as much as you think it does

really?.... i always figured there was some trick people weren't showing me XD but next time i will definitely take numerous pictures and mess around with settings and stuff... maybe i can get a decent sunset picture

That's actually the best thing you can do - take a TON of photos. Last night I took 120 shots - I REALLY liked about a dozen of them. That's 1/10 of all those pictures that came out looking REALLY good. Taking a picture of the same subject ten times is a good rule of thumb

Lighting changes fast when the sun is setting, so that's a lot of it. The angle is always changing, going behind clouds, etc. It's all about how fast you can capture the light, and that applies to any photo. Even small changes can make a difference, and that's why it's important to take so many - you won't know until later if you just happened to get your shot in the perfect light

yea i'll be doing quite a bit of things this weekend so i'll be sure to try that ^_^ take lots of photos hahaha. sometimes i get a good photo but i generally give up easily on photography haha. i'll try harder! XD

my timing is crap when it comes to capturing sunsets XD hahaha. oh well. ill just take one every night til i get it! hahaha
