An original character from my ongoing fanfiction, The Long Eventide

Most who meet Diamond Dust get the impression that she is as cold as her icy-coloured pelt would imply, with her expression usually either carefully blank or a sneer of displeasure. Enraged by incompetence and driven to ensure that everything she has a hoof in organizing is perfect, she's an intimidating pony to deal with and many shrink away when she casts them with her harsh stare. And with how she pushes others away with her demeanor, few get close enough to see that she may be cracking under the strain of her duty to the city she serves...

Deciding to get back into drawing by illustrating some characters from my written works. FIM's style is very simple to draw, even slightly modified (like defined hooves), so it's ideal for practice, and Diamond herself has a pretty easy-to-draw design. Mane and tail kept short for practicality and a mark made of very simple shapes.
