Ok backstory time
Gold is a Cyclops,that part of her is normal but things like her claws and her wings were given to her by scientists the experimented on her.
Gold cant remember anything before the experiments so she believes she was created by them. She ended up running away when she was about 12 and in the process injured her legs and wings. She can still fly she just cant do it well. She has no ill feelings against the scientists she just wanted to see the world so thats why she ran away.
