"Love" and "affection" aren't the words you're looking for. XD It's more like... "Puffyness of the Holiday" and "Cutsie little interactions" and "Exchanging of useless candy and gifts"... that is not Love. Love is not giving each other candy and being all on top of each other all day, with hugs and kisses and teddy bears.
Love is what you give to the people you REALLY care about. Someone who has earned your trust enough, to the extent where you treat them like a brother or sister. Or hell, maybe more than that at times. LOVE is to be earned, not thrown around like some casual word.
THAT'S why I hate Valentines day. That's why I think people like us hate valentines day, but they accidentally translate it into hating Love itself. No, we just hate that everyone throws themselves at each other like affection-hungry retards.
Valentines day is FAKE and CHEAP is what we are trying to say.
