I have a 1920s guy too, I used refs of Jimmy Stewart in Mr. Smith Goes To Washington. For your guy, going by this pic, I'd go with his hair in the middle part of the movie if it works for you.

i did something similar, i based rick of Fredric March and Beth of Fay Wray, its just its tough when the side part is to the right instead of the middle

i like them, they help to tone down large foreheads, as a middle part tens to accentuate them
