Description
The brown and orange dappled apprentice stalked through the forest with her mentor, Splashheart. Dustpaw was all trained and ready for her first hunt! Excitement tingles at her paws, as she looked at the fast flowing stream.
First, Splashheart showed her how to scoop up a fish without letting it sense you. When Dustpaw's turn came, it wasn't as easy as she thought.
Standing a little too close to the flowing water, Dustpaw knelt forward and suddenly shot her paw at a silvery gray figure in the water. But instead of the fish bouncing up close to Dustpaw, the fish flung out of the water and landed halfway across the stream. Dustpaw pushed her paws forward to grab it, and fell into the cold water.
Splashheart shook his head as he pulled Dustpaw out by her scruff.
