Description
So in case you haven't noticed, this one dump is pretty much just devoted to Cuphead. I just love the style of it too much!! I tend to stress over getting details right with some styles, including my own, but with this one I'm able to relax a bit more and just have fun drawing.

Didn't number these this time, but I think it's fairly easy to see what I'm talking about point to point, so I'll just go down the list:

1.) Somewhere in my mind, I just went, "You know what? Every character in this particular game gets little minions or equivalents: I want some too! Otherwise, if I ever try drawing a boss fight, I'm gonna be lame and stuck with only a handful of attacks. I need to get creative with this!" XD So allow me to introduce the wisps. Little, light blue fireballs with bright yellow and white cores. Now, the wisps aren't sentient: Unlike when I make a character for any universe/storyline, they don't have any freewill of their own. They can even be used as bullet-like, explosive attacks, and can follow certain commands such as acting as a trail to follow. Essentially, what they are paralleling to something in the real world and in terms of me as an artist and writer are those little voices that you sometimes hear in your head when you start debating/talking to yourself. Which I think all of us do at some point, lol! For comic and story's sake when I have my persona play around in various worlds, this means that they're made from literal thoughts or memories taking a temporary physical form. Good when you need an alarm clock reminding you to get off your butt and get to work on something: Not so good at other times...

2.) A part of me wanted to play around with outfits.

But the truth is I really can't stand trying on clothes for very long and definitely don't want to if it's something I look at once and automatically decide I don't like, I don't care how good other people say it looks on me. *eyeballs my mom and grandmother* XD I wear sweatpants and T-shirts pretty much on a daily basis: It takes some very specific circumstances to get me to dress up. Unfortunately for me, this would not fly well with my OC, Catrina, who is all about fashion and would use me as her personal doll.

4.) Speaking of Catrina, I mentioned in the concept art I made of her that she had some button boys and thimble girls that worked and modeled for her, so here they are! Each group of them are actually siblings, and they come from the same hometown. Their families knew Catrina's, so they sent them off to live with her due to some bad circumstances at home. Since then, they've happily been growing in their own ways. Felicity acts very much as a model business woman and takes care of most of the actual retail-end of running Catrina's boutique, dealing with most of the female clients while Sullivan handles most of the male clients. Sullivan and Felicity really pretty much split the work 50/50 for the most part, but she's better at handling customers while he's better at looking over the numbers and budgeting. Amaryllis, Tim, and Jesse for the most part are just normal kids and just help around the boutique when needed. Amaryllis has a couple of self-esteem issues, thinking she's too plain and often comparing herself with her sister, but I can tell you that when she gets older, she'll be a knockout. She also wants to follow Catrina's steps as a designer, but again, struggles to really push herself. Jesse is the middle kid amongst his brothers and easily the most rambunctious: He's definitely the kind of kid to go searching for frogs and snakes and play in the mud. Rather than having an interest in fashion, he actually wants to be a sailor when he's older, fantasizing about adventure. Sometimes Catrina will force him to dress up, much to his chagrin, but he does take care of most of the deliveries when it comes to commissioned orders. He loves getting to run around the Isles, but at the same time he will handle the orders carefully to avoid the wrath of his older housemates. Tim has an adventurous streak too, and tries to follow after his brother and some of the other boys, but has a bit of a weak constitution and is also just as content with sitting back with a book. He's also exceptionally smart. I might end up using these characters for some other stories I have in mind...

5.) 1930's nine-tailed fox me. Because I haven't gotten to try it in any style until now. I'd like to think that, while my two-tailed form would be in-between the size of a squirrel and cat, this form is a lot bigger--about the size of one of those huge dogs or a small horse.

6.) And lastly just some doodles of some of the bosses that I like from the game. I actually like a lot more than this, but I had already been working on this so long. :/ I love too many of them: I can't pick favorites!!! ...Well, I mean, Goopy is a bit iffy though, since I can see myself really just liking to mess with him for the most part. There's a castle in the background of his fight, so I headcanon it as his home and like to imagine that if I could jump into the world of Cuphead, I'd make it a mission of slowly tricking him over the course of weeks into thinking the place was haunted--the thought of taking things too far only occurring within my mind if at some point I ended up scaring him enough to try to move. XD
