Description
Another drawing for a DC role play that I'm involved with. Alvin Maddox is my other original character. He has the ability to manipulate electro-magnetic fields, giving him a wide array of abilities I'm too lazy to explain. His bones also have magnetic properties, allowing him to repel or attract objects toward him at will as well as being able to stick to large objects with magnetic properties. Unfortunately, he has yet to gain mastery over any of his abilities so awful things tend to happen to him (such as getting stuck to the side of a semi while walking down the street).

Alvin is wealthy, although his money comes from his father and the Maddox Pharmaceuticals company that his father owns. He has a rather dysfunctional family, with a half sister who lives in France that he only gets along with for short periods of time, and an even worse relationship with his parents. His mother is often away, due to the abusive nature of his father, so Alvin often takes the brunt of his wrath. He's kind of a brat in that he does things to spite his father, which just causes him more misery. But teens are ridiculous like that, I guess. :'P

He is also in a relationship with 's character, Gambol Curllington (the Fantasma fanart I drew is her alternate costume). They have a rather complicated relationship filled with drama and adorableness and more drama and even more adorableness. They have their ups and downs, but they always stick together in the end. :]

As for the drawing itself, I was TOTALLY too lazy to shade this, so I just flat colored it and submitted it. I'm terrible at drawing hands, I'm sorry! I'm not totally happy with this, but I think that's because I can't draw guys. X:

And I swear one of these days I do a drawing with an actual background... some day. xD

And I think he's doing jazz hands or something...
