Karima Senseku & Samtpfötchen

Karimas father is an half-elfen ranger and her mother a human Selûne priestess. Her father had been an adventurer and his stories made Karima long for an adventuring career of her own.
Her youth was largely uneventful aside from occasional skirmished with pirates testing the defenses of her hometown. One day during her forages into the Yuirwood she came upon a dead Tigress. Close to the adult Tiger she discovered several cubs, all but one already starved to death. So she brought the lone survivor home and raised him. Dubbing him Samtpfötchen (“tiny velvet paws”) for his small soft paws. Her father giftet her a magical girdle he still had from his adventuring days, that allowed communication and some control over cats and catlike creatures. So Karima and Samtpfötchen became an inseparable pair.
About two years later while traveling by ship to the nearby city they were hit by a storm and after fighting the storm all night long the ship finally sank. Only Samtpfötchens swimming skills saved the pair. When they were found in the morning by a group of adventurers, she discovered that they had washed up on the shores of an ocean that did not even have connection to the inland sea they had ventured upon.
With few choices left she joined that band of adventurers and hasn't stop following the adventurer live stile since then. (Nor has she stopped trying to find out how a 'simple' storm could end her at the coast of a different ocean.)
Traveling with a (rather large) Tiger provides his own challenges and while she is known in many of the smaller towns in the area she currently frequents, entering the cities with Samtpfötchen still remains a challenge at best, not that she cares to much, cities don't appeal to her anyway. Nowadays she just patrols around the Wealdath in Tethyr, trying to help where she can. Be it local bandits, roaming monsters or just missing cattle.
