This is my all-time favourite panel of my comic work, and the one I waited all my life to draw! Back in 2003, I got the opportunity to draw my dream battle... here is the Incredible Hulk vs The Thing from issue 100 of Spec. Spidey.

It's been done. Many times the Hulk has fought against Thing. Nowadays, I'd say they've got a much more friendly rivalry going on. They even sit down to a (mostly) friendly game of Poker in the Avengers cartoon.
Old Jade Jaws says that Ben has never beaten him, but that's not entirely true. A long time ago, Grey Hulk fought against a mutated Thing - and he was knocked out.Β
Again, I'd say they're really much more on the friendly side than anything else. Course, I'm all for another smack-down in the event they have another "Who is Stronger" competition.Β

I love how they didnt now how to draw the THINGs right foot !and then just didnt draw the Hulk's at all.

I dig your preference for 'classic' MARVEL comics style. I also admire the proportions, lines and crisp, clear style of the 60s / 70s /80s.. It's almost analogous to the High Renaissance for sequential art. I grew up thinking of 1982 Incredible Hulk cartoon as the way he fundamentally looks. Likewise Spider-Friends for Spider-Man.

Hulk would win, hands down. Every time he gets madder, he gets stronger, so he would just get mad enough to beat The Thing. ;D

You know its funny, Bruce was hit with gamma rays and Ben was hit by cosmic energy(simply put), and when you consider that Ben can't beat the hulk it tells you that gamma power is stronger than cosmic power, which in my opinion doesn't make sense!
But still, you gotta give Ben credit for trying, he does have a lot of heart and my hat is off to you for such a incredibly fantastic job, Stan would be proud!^^!

I think it's not such a case of that Gamma Rays are more powerful than Cosmic Rays... it's just that Bruce Banner was exposed to a high amount of radiation than Ben was. Don't forget... Banner exposure to the Gamma Rays was outdoors... where he took the full brunt of the Gamma Boomb blast, whereas Ben was exposed to a cosmic rays, inside Reed Richard's rocket-ship (although they did go into space before the sheilds of the shop were fully finished!). That's my reasoning anyways!!

Thanks man! I'm a huge fan of both characters, and even though the Hulk is my all-time fave, there's a part of me that always roots for ol' bashful Benjy as well!
