Quite a nice piece, first thing I knowtice is that the right lens is smaller than the left.
I would also say that the collar of the shirt on the right looks a little to flat, cardboard like, and on the left looks a bit messy.
(When I say right and left Im referring to the person in the pictures right and left.)
You have painted the light source and shadows well, maybe the glasses could have cast a little more of a shadow?
The only other thing I would say is the hair would have used a little more definition as the white parts look detached from the hair its self.
But you did a very good job on the proportions and facial expression.

Thank you. I wanted to make some of these corrections myself already, but my paper was filled. It's soft pastel on structured paper. And it's a problem I mostly have... Do you work with soft pastel also?

Yes though Im not so big a fan of using pastels as it is fairly hard to make corrections... and I have a tendency to put my hand in the picture and smudge it...

Wonderful modeling. I suggest for next time you buckle down and attempt softening the face a bit. Just a bit. Might want to experiment with shallow focal fields as well.
