Beyond the veil;shadows interplaying with light,
close your eyes and see;

I wanted the character in this image to be ambiguous, neither male or female, but I wanted them to look fit and healthy, happy and full of personality.......
the patterns-I'll let you figure it out... I'll just give the suggestion of lotus, infinity and reptiles.

your first impression is about as close as anyone could get without a fair few years of deep, deep meditation, and inner contemplation
very well done, you have captured my attention 
the soul has seven "doorways" or chakras, points where our energy interacts with the outside world...
but to feel them is something totally different.
this picture is trying to show how this feels
I want to colour this but I am much more into drawing than colouring (shameful I know, I will get round to it I hope)

I actually think we're on the same page. Kundalini, as it was explained to me, is the awakening of energy from your root chakra, and it rising up to self-awareness. However, I'm certainly no guru, and these kinds of journeys are usually very personal. I do totally understand what you were aiming at though, and you're right, feeling the chakras is amazing, even if only a little bit. The past year I have dedicated to energy work (mainly reiki, with meditation and yoga as well) so I've been having a lot of new and wonderful experiences. C:

brilliant explanation. too many people think kundallini is just something to do with sex these days, so I am usually reserved about discussing such things. one must first learn if the person we are talking with is coming from a westernised view or not.
I was born a seer, so energies and the chakras have played a huge part in my life
and you are very welcome! you definitely caught my attention with how you present yourself.

I was trying to get across what it feels like to open all the chakras at once, and receive the energy from the world around. its a real eye opener
