I find the use of color in drawing as line to be an awesome skill, anyone can lay down flats but the choice of color for each line, even if they have no correlation with nature, make the picture amazing. love this.

Question:
When you draw, do you use the shapes and figures or do you juss draw?
I've never been one to use the shapes first, i just usually start with the head and go from there.

Shapes-I work all over a piece building layer upon layer to help the piece as a whole. It also keeps all the proportions right and is easier to make corrections. I also find this keeps a specific part of the drawing from being better than the rest. Oh, and I leave the eyes for the very end.
